I’m not sure if the laws have been changed regarding that. So many women were refusing to file charges, the courts may have had to change it up just to protect them.

Whether she was trying to hit him or not is no excuse to knock her unconscious and then drag her out of the elevator like a sack of garbage.I agree completely. There is no excuse for punching a woman, especially for a guy who does strength training on a daily basis and could have punched her through a wall if he hit hard enough.
