I saw something in the generator room of the USS Alabama while visiting the battleship in Mobile. A small child in a bright colored coat. I was the only one in the room. Small child, around three or four. I followed the kid because I was worried that he was by himself. Followed him around a blind corner with a dead end. No kid.

Don’t know what I saw.

Not scary, the kid was giggling and happy, but just not real.

Was it me?

That’s my story. I have no idea. That is what I saw.

Here is a somewhat similar case:

Yes, We Also Do Houses — A spiritual search-and-rescue mission in which a woman with no prior involvement in this work channeled a lost soul and experienced the reunion. (1992-08)

I remember reading something about a stairwell where there are noises that occur at the same are several sailors were killed in WW2, on the USS Alabama.
I have myself heard footsteps in a guest room at a old southern house. I was the only one there, so I assumes it was neighbor kids who were supposedly coming in the house and turning all the lights on when the family was away. I stood out side the room, for a few seconds listening to the footsteps, then threw open the door with a knife in my hand.
No one in the room, my hair stood on end and I went outside to wait in my car for the owners to get back home.
