OK folks, I've got a new song out. This is also a country song, but not a humorous one. (Not intentionally, anyway.) Once again, I'd appreciate it if you'd give it a listen and an honest opinion, preferably in that order. The waaaaahmbulance is standing by.

1) I did indeed record the song as "Hopalong Ginsberg." No, that is not an autocorrected spelling of "Slings and Arrows."

Oh slide guitar! I love it. Never learned how to play. I play 12 and 6 string and just learned dulcimer in the last year and a half. Do you have any recordings in which you play slide guitar?
I like finger picking but don’t do it much as my fingernails are the wrong kind.
I’ve got an idea. Why not post the lyrics on youtube? They are really great. The sort of understatement of the words as well as your voice and the quiet picking give it interesting power.
No slide guitar recordings, I’m afraid. If I use it on any future songs I’ll be sure to mention it.

So that was a MIDI guitar track? Pretty convincing actually. Do you just program in the chords bar by bar or do you have to do the picking pattern note by note?

Re your question: Just programmed the chords. I have some ideas that’ll require me to be a bit more hands-on though.
