Nearly 21 months after a female student accused Jameis Winston, Florida States marquee quarterback, of sexually assaulting her in his apartment, the university has begun a disciplinary inquiry into the case, the womans lawyer said Thursday.
Florida State officials interviewed the woman last month, spending a little more than an hour asking questions, said the lawyer, John Clune.
We thought it went very well, he said. The school seemed to take it very seriously.

Clunes client withdrew from Florida State late last year after her accusations became public. She has since enrolled at another university.

I don’t know if he is guilty or not but the Tallahassee PD clearly did not do their job properly.
Yep.
They didn't check her for crabs, especially her legs?

FSU is the team for Northwest (conservative) Florida and the Gators belong to the liberals downstate. Here in Panama City we have a fairly new branch of FSU so we tend to lean a little more their way.
Title IX investigation. FSU is investigating pursuant to Title IX reguirements, the U.S. DOJ also currently investigating FSU to make sure they comply with Title IX. Code of conduct mentioned and my guess would be maybe focusing on having other people present during the sex. If you don’t have witnesses, you’re facing criminal charges, if you do, you’re facing code of conduct charges from the school for violating someone’s privacy.
I lived in southwest Georgia when Bowden built up the program. At the time, folks there seemed to split fairly evenly between Georgia, Auburn, and FSU.
Post Bowden (or even starting late Bowden) FSU seems to have opted to go with the ‘thugs and gangstas’ recruiting system, with misconduct accepted if the player delivered on the field. I can’t see the program cleaning itself up at this point.
