The Cowboys have scheduled a news conference to make it official that Sam, the NFL’s first openly gay player, has been added to the practice squad. The news broke yesterday that the Cowboys would sign Sam assuming he passed his physical.
Sam was drafted by the Rams and played well in the preseason, recording three sacks. But he did not play well enough to stay in St. Louis.
In Dallas, he may have a better chance of earning a spot on the 53-man roster if he proves himself on the practice squad. The Cowboys are desperate for help on defense, and Sam may be able to have an impact as a situational pass rusher.

All I can say is what a sick, demented place America is these days. Just makes me want to vomit.
The world doesn’t really care if he’s on the practice squad or starting on game day. They only want to make sure that NFL showers have gay guys.
Don’t they always have a major news conference to announce a signing of a player to the taxi squad???

And so, if Sam actually does make the cut somewhere, will announcers refer to him as the openly gay guy every time he gets a tackle or sack?
Just think of fruity celebration dances and swishy posturing alone. I mean, we will absolutely know for sure that these spectacles are indeed being performed by an actual gay man, instead of just suspecting it.

Not many. Mainly because its against the law to ask that. But you never have to ask a sodomite if he’s queer. He’ll tell you 10 times in the first minute he meets you.
If Tebow “sucks” then there are a whole lot of QBs in this league who also “suck”. sCam Newton comes to mind. RG3 and Jamarcus Russel, Geno Smith.... I agree that QBs need to make throws, not runs, but the NFL lately seems to think that running QBs are the future of the game (I don’t). So then I ask, why is Tebow not in the NFL while these other stiffs get endless praise and endless numbers of chances to succeed? The guy did win a playoff game. He could easily be a backup QB or a starter for a team like the Raiders!
Never thought the day would come that I finally dump the Cowboys but this is it. Yes, for real. The end. Sam is the final straw. He’s been signed on for the publicity but it’ll be nothing but yet another in a very long line of distractions. No thank you.
