Of course Barack Obama has absolutely NO ideological rigidity of his own. He is the most ideological, doctrinaire, dogmatic, strait-out-of-the-Marxist-handbook president in history.

Call me “Rigid”. I’ve been accused of that before.
I’d be ashamed not to be.

Mitch and Boehner agree and want the GOP to drop the rigid backbone they could never understand.

“...held captive to an ideologically rigid, unproductive and cynical faction...”

Let us ask Democrats a few questions.

1) How many Democrats leaders are *allowed* to be “Right to Life”?

The answer is “zero”, indicating rigidity of doctrine.

2) How many Democrats *cynically* support Planned Parenthood because its emphasis is on killing black babies?

The answer is “a lot”, with the balance just ignoring the obvious and embracing the “choice” lies.

3) How many bills are awaiting action in the US senate, solely because unproductive Democrat leader Harry Reid will not allow them to be debated, much less voted on?

The answer is “thousands”. For the last two years of the W. Bush administration, and the entire Obama administration, Harry Reid has obstructed almost all congressional actions in his power to do so.

4) How many Democrat leaders endorse cutting taxes and the size of government to improve government efficiency and stimulate the economy?

The answer is “zero”, again indicating a rigid, agenda driven ideology.

This list could go on and on. And it is not a case at all of “the pot calling the kettle black”, as the liberals in both parties fight as hard as they can to stop what the conservatives want, and to refuse to even compromise with them to show *any* restraint in government.

A “rigid, unproductive and cynical” group of people do not work to try to reign in an obviously out of control and intrusive, spendthrift government. In truth they seek moderation and reason, which is the furthest thing from rigidity, being unproductive, or cynical, except to far out and destructive extremes craved by the liberals.

I am proudly ideologically rigid.

I believe that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and I don’t see that as open to debate. Since God created everything, He has the authority to direct our behavior, and it is wise of us when we respect that authority and follow His commands and Commandments.

I believe that “Congress shall make no law . . .” means that Congress shall make no law abridging God-given rights.

I believe that a well-regulated militia is necessary to the security of a free State, and that for that reason the right of the people to keep and bear arms may not be infringed. This means that any law attempting to infringe on that right is illegitimate and that any government attempting to do so also has no legitimacy.

I believe that the powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are and ought to be reserved to the states respectively, or to the people. This means that any attempt by Congress, the White House, or the Supreme Court to go beyond the enumerated powers lacks legitimacy. Our obligation to comply with such illegitimate laws extends only to such compliance as FedGov is capable of compelling and only those moments in which FedGov can compel temporary obedience.

I believe that borders should be protected and that immigration laws should be followed and enforced. Any illegal caught in our country should be fingerprinted, DNA swabbed, and deported with no opportunity ever for any path to citizenship or even legal reentry.

I believe in the rule of law. Legitimate laws should be enforced and followed without exception. Illegitimate laws should be evaded to the maximum possible extent.

____________________________________________________________

All of Obama’s beliefs are diametrically opposite to mine, and he is as ideologically rigid in his hostility to freedom, decency, and the United States of America as I am in my loyalty to those ideals.

Obama: GOP captive to ideologically rigid group

Isn't it fun, Obama, to state EXACTLY the status of your party, and ascribe it to the other side?

There’s nothing wrong with actually believing in something. It’s what you believe in that’s the issue.
