Chris Long didn't appreciate ESPN's Michael Sam shower segment
CBS Sports ^ | August 26, 2014 | Will Brinson

Tuesday's SportsCenter featured an awkward break down of Michael Sam -- Rams defensive lineman and the first openly-gay player in the NFL -- and his shower habits.

While Josina Anderson reported Kendall Langford said Sam is "one of the guys and seems to be taking a rookie approach in terms of listening and learning at his own pace" she also reported one unnamed Rams defensive player's position on Sam's showering with teammates.

"Another defensive player told me Sam is 'respecting our space' and from his perspective he seems to think Michael Sam is kind of waiting to take a shower so as to not make his teammates feel uncomfortable," Anderson said.

The new sports report: Anchorettes giving updates from the locker room on gay man showering with straight men. ESPN will eventually have an all-homosexual channel.

ESPN can have anything they want. They’re a monopoly.

If the NFL wants to attract real Americans again, this Michael Sam goon needs to be banished immediately and for life. Sodomites are just pedophiles in waiting.

Starting?

The NFL has been out of my life for years.

College football may be next.

‘Sam is respecting our space’ - translation: the rest of the Rams told Sam in no uncertain terms, “If you know what’s good for you, you’ll stay the f away from us”

This is proof what a distraction it is to subject the team to social engineering. Anyone who has played ball knows it’s extremely difficult to win consistently this way.

Personally, I’m down to golf.

Sports has become as PC and banal as the local news.

The Left has been trying to eradicate football since the days of Teddy Roosevelt. Michael Sam and homosexuality, as well as former players suing over questionable long-term brain injuries, the assault over the Redskins’ nickname, and kids not playing football which will starve the league of future players, are all part of the leftist agenda.

I think it's a hoot that the Left has decided to invade the mental space of the Merkun Man who has been studiously ignoring their depredations, and concentrating on their NFL sports heroes to block out Zee Pol-O-Ticks.

My pal and I mock the Palace Guard media golf commentators: "Tiger-Tigga-Tooga-Tigga-Tiger-Tiger-Tooga-Tigger".

Soon, the NFL fans will be subjected to "Sam-Sam-Sammy-Simma-Sooma-Samma-Samma-Sam" all broadcast long. Whether or not the St. Louis ButtRams are actually playing.

It'll be delicious.

Bingo! Social engineering gone amok. Another day, another excuse for the basis of morality. At what point will these buffoons realize they are the Joke? Don't answer that.

"Chris Long: Dear ESPN,

Everyone but you is over it.

Howie Long's kid has it exactly right. Enough already. Sam has gotten some sacks and pressures in pre-season - he has some moves when rushing the passer but the analysts say he lacks initial burst. He probably won't make the Rams roster, but he might make their practice squad. And no one aside from the media, obsessed with portraying Sam as this generation's Jackie Robinson, gives a crap about his shower habits.

Men like to watch sporting events where the athletes excel at their sport not at being gay

Or his bowel habits, or what it is he likes doing to other men's bowels...............

I always wondered how Damon Wayans kept that football hat glued to his head without it falling off.

In Living Color. Wow, what a time capsule!

Imagine a show being that non-PC on TV today.

Sports has always been such.

Heterosexual men have always enjoyed excellence in sports.

Not because they are "secretly gay" for the athletes, as liberals have theorized. But because they like seeing top athletes playing at the highest level.

What was that game played by the Aztecs (?) on a huge field where two opposing teams tried to get a ball through a hoop?

The winners got all kinds of prizes and honors.

The losers were executed.

Now THAT would have been something to see.

No sissy boy playing there.
