No...they are out there. A person I've known for many years has come out as one of the "anti-Israel" sots in the last year or so.
Quite surprising to me as he has always been, and as far as I know still is, a very pro-defense, pro-U.S.A. conservative in all manners.
He is a former (retired) DOD security specialist and rather worldly person. I have been surprised, and of late annoyed, by his increasingly virulent anti-Israel comments. Turning into a full-blown looney, which I have told him, over this matter.
That probably explains his attitude. I know someone with a similar background, and he has told me in the past that U.S. intelligence officials have long considered Israel one of the biggest risks the U.S. faces in terms of espionage, theft of military secrets, etc.
I too was surprised to meet one.
Mine was a retired military officer.
Very anti Israel.
