I’ve got problems with bad police behavior as well but that doesn’t mean I need to join the worst of the worst to try to fix it.
Look at Barry Michigan. The people forced the elimination of hundreds of reserve cops and the resignation of the police chief. Now the township is back down to 4 full time cops for a township of some 4000 people.

There is always good and bad in every profession , but I won’t jump on the lefts bandwagon as I have a mind of my own.
Barry MI sounds good as it lets the people speak and be heard.

Sounds like an appropriate ration 1:1000 ,, they won’t have time for or need to steal from the population via traffic scams to pay for their overtime.

Agreed. It's hard to change things locally when the feds give them unnecessary military equipment and irrational laws that ends up fostering an unhealthy relationship with civilians.
Like most every other problem, get the feds out of the equation and the people have more of a chance of turning things around.
