A Yemeni bride was taken in a motorcade to the wrong groom before she was told about the embarrassing mistake in the last minute.
Town residents near the capital Sanaa lined up the roads to greet the bride who sat in a luxury car surrounded by many other vehicles unleashing their honks in celebration.
When the motorcade reached the presumed groom’s house, another motorcade with another bride stopped near the same house.
“The honking and the music suddenly stopped and the people started laughing…only then, the groom’s relatives rushed out and told the bride in the first motorcade that they have come to the wrong groom and the wrong house,” said a report published in the Yemeni defence ministry website.
No big deal, marry both brides.
You wouldn’t kill chattel over that,
Went to a wedding where the limo driver got lost for an hour with the bride and her her maids. She was very upset and the church had weddings stacked back to back. No one new what happened until the limo showed.
Does it make a difference?
Moral of the story - never marry a woman who you have never seen unveiled.
