Stewart still blipped the throttle as he was going by (a proverbial “screw you”) which would throw the rear end out towards the other driver. I understand he was hit by the rear wheel. I think it was a little too much Testosterone and ego on both sides. Stewart is not blameless. I have raced dirt cars before. Also no reason to go by so fast.

I have always told my children and any adults who would listen:
If your in a wreck on the interstate, never stay on the road. Same applies to a racetrack. The only one to blame for this is the kid who let his testosterone get the best of him. Rules say stay in the car.
And remember, night race wearing a black suit. May have never been seen by Stewart.

“. Lots of right turns for a left turn only race.”
It’s what you got to do to keep the back end behind the front end.

I honestly don’t know how sprint drivers do it. I sat in a friend’s 410 sprint on jacks in his shop once with it running and revved it a couple of times and the whole world went fuzzy from the vibration. I can’t imagine what its like driving one on a rough track.

I used to race karts on dirt tracks. Insane fun!

Interesting Web site, but that background is bothersome to say the least.

Jeff Dunham: Sweet Daddy says it's just a bunch of guys driving in a circle.
Bubba J.: Oh, I know! That's my favorite part! They're makin' a left turn!
Bubba J.: It's a sport that's easy to follow when you're hammered.

I'm not Tony Stewart's biggest fan, but I know he loves racing. I know even at local tracks, he is tough.
I think it's time to focus on running SHE and not drive.

Yep.
He and Jeff Gordon are among the oldest full-time NASCAR drivers, and should be leaning toward management instead of racing.

Those guys are early 40s, just getting warmed up.
Somebody has to break Handsome Harry Gant’s record for oldest winner at 52, LOL.

That webpage is right out of the 1990's! Yellow text on black background. Animated gif. If you view source you will find this: The last update for that software was 2003!
