I just saw this announced in a streamer over the golf game on TV, sent text to my daughter, who is shopping in another town and had no idea. She and her husband are racing home. Their home is very close to this fire.
Please join me in praying for all who live near this fire and especially for Katy and Fred and their dogs. May they stay free of fire, dear Lord, and damages of every kind.

My niece had to leave her home in Colorado when fires went through Monument. Thanks God it didn't hit her. Other family were on watch. It's hard watch the destruction fires can cause.
I am touched, charmed, and grateful for your thoughts and prayers, LonePalm, and Katy will be too. . "leurs chiens, et leu maison"…she'll love it, as she's fluent in French.
At this time the fire is essentially out, apparently the Spirit Lake FD was quick and efficient. And our prayers helped very much indeed:)
Dear FRiends: I heard from Katy that the Spirit Lake Fire Dept was quick and efficient and the fire did not reach her location.
And yet, the trees in the NW are dry this year, and I hope you will put my family on any ongoing prayer lists that you may have. My son, Bill, is in a different forest…in the path of the central WA fires….We prayed for him last week and the fire three miles from him went OUT although it was on very difficult terrain.
God was very good to us:) Twice in two weeks. Awesome, prayer warriors. Many many thanks.

Prayers up. One of the few bad things we ‘up in the mountains’ folk have to deal with each fire season.
