The heartless thug who kicked a squirrel into the Grand Canyon in a Youtube clip has a £10,000 bounty on his head thanks to furious animal activists.

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), famous for its shock tactics and ads containing scantily clad women, are on the hunt for the man shown in the video.

It was a totally juvenile and cruel act IMO. As a conservative who hunts I don’t like to see animals of any kind abused...I respect animal life and when its pests invading my home etc..then dispatch them humanely and quickly. Don’t get pleasure or find humor in it. Its just a dumb move and could be deeper issues with that individual.

I agree with you 100%. I will never take a shot unless I know it will be a quick and clean kill. Abusing an animal be it game or vermin is wrong.

Hope someone gets the reward, and soon. Anyone needlessly hurting an animal -especially because they think it amusing, is a truly sick individual. Study after study has proven a link to children going from cruelty to animals, to intentionally hurting them, to torturing them, to turning into evil murdering sociopaths with no conscience whatsoever.

I understand people who consider squirrels a nuisance, but there are also others who post things such as Slow-Cooked Squirrel Stew, so there are some that can see them in a positive light.

That does not condone the actions of the wanker here, however, as there was no reason to abuse this poor squirrel at all in this manner. Then again, I hate rats... but I would hope that such a dislike would not lead to actions such as this, however.

Farmers and Ranchers raise livestock of all sorts. Cattle, sheep, pigs, and others, but not one of them would dream of deliberately harming any part of their stock. What would be the point?

This individual, from a personal perspective, is no better than that SOB (Son Of Barak (obama) ) that lured a cat in to be petted then casually punted the poor feline into the air to the hoots and laughter of his associates -one of whom recorded the entire incident- and rightly deserves to be ostracized and pointed out as soon as possible for the evil person he so effectively portrays himself to be.

A waste of good meat. His punishment should be to be thrown off the grand Canyon in the same spot as the squirrel went.

Amen. Couldn't have said it any better myself. I've hunted and eaten squirrels, but anybody who kills an animal like this, out of sheer cruelty is displaying the opening symptoms of the serial killer and needs to be permanently nipped in the bud so to speak.

You are overlooking the hundreds of meters of rockface the poor squirrel will have to climb before it can reach any area where the possibility of food and water may exist.

Hard to lose sleep over this, after all a squirrel is just a rat with a bushy tail.

I'm aware that the French will eat just about anything, and if this Frenchman had eaten this squirrel I'd really have no issue with him. If there were some hunting skill needed to kill a squirrel I'd be OK with that too - it's not like squirrels are endangered. But he lured this little animal out and killed it just to satisfy some sadistic whim and get a few laughs from other sadists on YouTube - hard to feel much sympathy for him, much as I dislike PETA.
