There's not a day that goes by that I don't see an egregious error in the media. lay/lie, marshall/martial, fewer/less, misplaced modifiers, and incorrect use of apostrophes.

Of course our president doesn't know when it's appropriate to say I or me.

Hard to avoid when the so-called "professors" are illiterate themselves.

Among the "new English" also new are :

"its-it's", "used to be"- "use to be", "would have-would of" and a few others that don't come immediately to mind.

The ultimate irony is book reviewers at Amazon, written my presumably erudite readers using big words, are also sloppy with their creative use of strange words and phrases.
