Journalist Soledad OBrien and Abby Huntsman, an anchor on MSNBCs The Cycle, join TODAY to talk about the state of modern-day feminism as an anti-feminist movement grows among young women online, as reported by NBCs Hallie Jackson. From the Orange Room, Carson Daly asks viewers for their thoughts.

We'll begin with a Today Show video, addressing this new phenomena, Women Against Feminism.
An interesting thing happened last January. A woman created a page on tumblr called Women Against Feminism. This was in response to all the photos floating around with women and girls holding up signs that say, "I need feminism because." The new site encouraged females to send in their signs saying, "I DON'T need feminism because."
Such a silly thing. Just another fad on the internet.
But a strange thing happened. This has taken off in a big way. As of this morning, the WAF page has 17,611 followers and it's growing by the hour.
But here's the best part, the YouTube videos. The voices of loud, passionate anti-feminists are being heard and they are p*ssed. Most of these women are of the younger generation.
The BBC has taken note: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZBpdZbSYSg
Here are a couple of the girls (you can find plenty more with a search):

The feminists have lost their minds. They cannot comprehend how women could be anti-feminist.
For all of the FReeper ladies, I highly recommend that you join the party on the WAF facebook page.

This is not a conservative site. There are traditional women, and secular women, libs, and right wingers.
The cool part is that we are united in the intent to bring down the feminist stranglehold on society. To keep the conversation on point, we're focusing on the specific ways that feminism hurts women, men, and th family unit. The level of research on this page is beautiful.
Topics include men's rights issues, feminism's support for CAIR, the myth of the pay gap, the lie of rape culture, the dismantling of fatherhood, the way that fems dismiss stay-at-home mothers, how feminism has weakened our military and police forces by lowering the standards, the way that feminists treat women as if they were children, the war on boys, and so much more.
And we are getting *saturated* with baffled feminists who are convinced that we just don't understand... (wide eyes)
I also highly recommend that you check out the reaction from the MRA’s.
The Red Pill is delighted. There are so many wonderful youtube videos from MRA’s on thus subject and what I’m getting is a profound sense of relief.
It is not actually an Anti-Feminist movement, it is more correctly called an Anti-Radical-Feminist Movement. It is a Counter-Revolutionary type movement.
Feminism is all about being a victim. Being an armed woman is all about not being a victim.
Does Rush still call them feminazi?
Google Fempocalypse by karen straugn it is worth watching!
Well, one of the running themes is the lack of tolerance against anyone holding the label. If you hold the label, you’re supporting the vocal radicals. This is pointed out time and time again.
The ‘radical’ is superfluous. Sort of like, ‘radical’ Muslim.
Funny how NBC didn’t interview any of the anti-feminists and had two feminists explain what those women meant. The only one who spoke for them was one until she realized she was a femihag.
Pray America wakes up
Whatever you call yourself, if you are a woman who votes for Democrats I call you a problem.
But let me expand globally; if you are a women who votes for liberals/socialists/commies, I call you a problem.
In other words, 60-70% of women in the Western world are the antithesis of individual liberty and freedom.
I will, thank you.
Some days I think it is over 90%.
Everything by karen straugn is worth watching.
Self-ping for later.

There are plenty amongst them who call them "sell-outs", "traitors", and say they are "not down with the struggle".
Identity politics only matter if you serve THE Party.
