You know what I wouldn’t be surprise I have family friend who “research” family tree she found out her so many great parent was local Rabbi in the community like 1300 in Spain
Wow! That’s impressive if anybody can trace their family lineage on the Iberian Peninsula going back that far!
Spaniards & Portuguese aren’t known for keeping family records going back that far. I can only go back to the late 1850s in mine.
