Quinn and Rose are off the air, and we await word that they are returning soon. (Stand by) Meanwhile, our friendly group of dedicated FReeper Q&R fans will meet in our usual spot - same time, same station - as we always have! So grab your coffee - or whatever you choose to start your day - and drop in for some political chit-chat, or just to shoot the breeze! We are all coming from - or going to - work, but we all stop in to say hi! Feel free to join us!
Snap!
Mornin’ everybuddy!
Yikes!!! It’s 46F here.... bbrrrrrrrrrr!
Global Warming my bbbbbrrrrrrr As..........
Good morning!
Just letting everyone know I made up another 6 weeks of transmitter logs for WJAS overnight. That means my company is prepared for up to 6 more weeks of ownership...the same format. IT COULD BE LESS but we have to be prepared and paper is cheap.
Plus I have been checking the WJAS signal and it is WAY down from a few years ago. Even here it is noisy to listen to and sometimes impossible to get.
sigh...how radio has changed!
Maybe the new owner has improvements in store or maybe Q&R will go someplace better.
Just a FYI.
Meanwhile I’m watching one of my fave YouTube chefs prepare a simple turkey breast recipe I am doing today. Coat it with butter, a little salt and cover tightly with foil. Oven at 350 for 3-3 and a half hours. How can I mess that up?
Morning AM! Geez! 46! And I thought we were cold at 53!
If it gets any colder here the hibiscus will have to come in. Only 3-4 good blooms so far this year. With the cold it might be done!
Morning p6!
Nothing we can do at this point is to wait and see what happens. Why is the signal way down? Does that have to do with equipment?
My favorite Youtube channels are all gardening! Since we got the Roku, I’ve got a lot of subscriptions on Youtube! Two of my faves are Alan Titchmarsh on BBC and the Grow Your Own Greens guy from California. He’s very southern Cal. The video where he talks about how his house got raided because the neighbors said he was growning pot was hilarious! He grows veggies everywhere - even in his bathroom!
We harvested our first tomato yesterday. It’s a miracle. It’s been too cold at night for tomatoes to ripen!

Equipment, engineer and cheap...cheap management.
There are all kinds of radio rumors going around here now. Most is disinfo. Some have Quinn going to KD but not in mornings. The good news is that finally there are a lot of rumors unlike a few weeks ago. With all the talk something is starting to shake.
When the first domino falls fasten your seatbelt!
I picked an ear of corn two days ago.. MMmmmmm Fresh corn on the cob MMMMMMmmmm
Our kids gardens, are doing well! Not bad for beginners and we aren’t helping much. So far we have beans and peas, some herbs but not much else. The grandkids planted tomatoes but won’t let them be so they are not doing well. Rabbits are a problem too.
Morning, everyone.
I had a dream last night that I won some sort of contest and got to have lunch with Quinn. I hope that’s a sign . . . don’t know what of, but I’m hoping.
Don’t know where mrs p6 is getting corn but it’s been pretty good. She has already cooked a bunch, cut it off the cob and frozen it. Might use some today.
Meanwhile I don’t know if it’s the cold but I’ve dug out a bunch of Amish recipes....mostly for fall.
Sorry, fell asleep...check these out.
