Just wondering if anyone out there has stories from those who voted for Obama and now regret it. I realize that the far left will support him to the end, but I would like to think that perhaps those who may be more middle of the road may have regrets.
Not here in MA! Everyone here thinks he’s the best president ever! Now — if we can only get Elizabeth Warren as the follow-on!!!

My BIL says (with a straight face) that things wouldn’t be as they are (IOW they’d be much better) if the dumb Republicans would do the right thing and sign off on every Obungo proposal. He says it’s their job to do whatever Zero wants.
About 3 years ago I had a dinner discussion with one of the former top execs at Starbucks. He had voted for Obama in the first election and was astonished at just how bad Obama turned out to be. He was honestly shocked.

Not one. They love him more than ever. Obamacare and gay marriage are beyond their wildest dreams. Withdrawal of the troops from Iraq and Afghanistan, check the box. Higher tax rates are either enthusiastically supported, or tolerated as the price of social justice. Ardently looking forward to amnesty for illegals, much stronger crackdowns on carbon extraction and combustion, and marijuana decriminalization, and expect Obama to deliver meaningfully on each of those in the next three years.
The must used Liberal Term “The Loyal Opposition” suddenly disappeared from the English Language on January 2009.
It was replaced with the Term “Racist Teabaggers”.

Ever noticed that libs always insult the intelligence of conservative females? That they are all just so stupid?
Yet, no matter how lying, incompetent, inexperienced and falling down stupid a liberal "female" is, she is brilliant and fully equipped to be President. In a liberal, a vagina is proof of superiority. No discussion of anything else is necessary.
Pretty universally, it has been a case of ‘A poor choice, but it could have been far worse.’
My mom and dad have not come right out and said they regretted it, but they have been highly critical of him in the last two years.
I have spoken to a half dozen people other than that who have said they regretted voting for him. I didn’t gloat. I coaxed out of them why, and most of it has to do with his (truly) lack of transparency in the government, the IRS, his vacations, even the immigration issue. Some of these people would have never called political before, are now looking at politics a lot closer, and the difference in the parties. I warn them, that the Republicans aren’t as great of an option anymore, that even among them, you have to choose the right individual.
I get a lot of interest in either Paul or Cruz. I’m trying not to get my hopes up on such a small selection of people who are identified as democrats, but....we’ll see.
Nope. Quite the contrary. I DO hear that some that voted for him don’t like him (too Conservative) but say they will vote for whoever the Dims run so it doesn’t matter.
In short, zero chance either side picks up any votes even from the supposed “middle”. People are pretty much set on one side or another which is why the demographic shift against us is so unsettling.
I stopped associating with all known Obama voters. I don’t associate with traitors.
And they will admit up front that no matter who is on the (D) ticket in 2016, they will vote for that person. Most (all?) would cast their vote now to be counted for whomever is running in 2016.
I think I would have a little remorse if I voted for this.

Remember, these Dem’s parents and grandparents voted for FDR multiple times, despite how horrible the U.S. economy remained, 3 times. So 8 years wasn’t enough. If WWII hadn’t intervened, they’d have voted for him again despite the fact that the economy would have remained horrible. I’ll give people a pass for not changing Presidents in the middle of a major war.
I see it by how few of them rush in to defend the guy on online forums. They like to pretend that he doesn’t exist these days.
Tech sites especially hate the guy now.

Plenty of people whose parents or grandparents voted for FDR are now Republicans, and plenty of people whose parents or grandparents voted for Hoover or Landon or Willkie or Dewey voted for Obama.
I'd cut the old folks a little slack. A lot of them didn't have any hope that things could get better.
A combination disorder: cognitive dissonance, Stockholm syndrome, self-esteem issues, "Magic Negro" syndrome ("He'll become what we need him to become").
