Had a painful morning so I took a nap forgetting all about you all. I hope no one got in trouble out in the halls today waiting for the classroom door to open.

Actually, that is how I met my husband -- hovering over a radiator waiting for the HS doors to open. 55 years later...I hope our HS students from our Parish (St. Francis Borgia of Cedarburg) have been behaving themselves in Tioga Center this week. There should be 40 of them (including adult sponsors) helping on projects there.

I found a book yesterday, the lead character was on his way to double knee replacement surgery as the book opened. I am not at all sure if it’s wise to be reading this at this time. LOL I keep drifting off to my own memories.

It *was* getting pretty redolent out in the hallway while waiting to get into the classroom (names withheld to protect the innocent ;)

Sorry that you’re still hurting out there, take it easy & rest up…

Hope you are feeling less pain this afternoon.

My house is currently redolent with the aromas of blueberries and lemons. We’re making jam today and are about to start on the peach. We went blueberry picking yesterday morning in the pouring rain and only found out after we got home that the tornado that struck a campground in VA yesterday was at the same time we were picking and only about 25 miles south of us. I’m sure that story has finished its run on the national news, but the folks involved are going to need thoughts and prayers for a long time, because the damage caused was not just confined to the campground.
