It takes an average of 3 minutes to take picture of their food? Seriously? Do cellphones come with Polaroid film in them? At a five star restaurant, they have to pose their food just right! and find the exact exposure. . . flash or no flash, HDR?, turn the plate so the broccoli shows its best profile. . . Oops, there's a shadow on the loaded mashed potatoes. Do it all several times because you won't come here again.

find the exact exposure. . . flash or no flash, HDR? Part of that is easy. Don't use flash. Ever. For anything. You're much better off adjusting shutter speed (if you can) or editing the picture later because flash just washes out everything and makes unnatural shadows.
Flash is evil, whether it's from a camera of Adobe.
