Except the traffic is ordinarily backed up, and everyone is usually going far, far too slowly.
But when it’s not backed up, we move. I have to remember when I travel not everywhere is like this however.
The cops ordinarily don’t crack down on speeding. They’re more worried about drugs, and gang-bangers.
I have to give credit to your police. The police around my area are pretty decent as well, but I know lots of areas aren’t so fortunate. I’ve found that the worst police tend to be in rural/exurban blue counties; oddly enough, I’ve never been stopped in a large city.
Is your traffic backed up because of moronic drivers, or because of construction? Where I live, I have to say that idiotic government timing for construction takes most of the blame for the problems we face.

I think I know what you mean. Here in Hilo we call light sleepers people who pull up to a signal light and then fall asleep. Nobody in the waiting line honks their horns because the lead car (the sleeping one) just might be someone’s aunty.
