Between Putin, Karzai, Chalabi and Maliki, it's clear that Bush's ability to read people extends only to fellow Americans. BTW, Lois Lerner was appointed to Director of Exampt Organizations in 2006. I have no idea if GWB had any hand in this, but this was obviously a mistake. In this, and many other ways, GWB was a disaster for the GOP. Unfortunately, the alternatives were Gore, Kerry and McCain.
Given the choice between dumb (Bush), evil (Gore), evil (Kerry) and dumber (McCain), I will always choose dumb (Bush).
