I’ve had two attack cats in my lifetime. One female brown tabby and the next one was a male brown tabby that I adopted from the local shelter. I had to go through a 2 hour interview to get him as he had been returned 3 times prior. I walked in that day to the shelter, sat down in the free range room. Spotted the big handsome guy, but he proved hissy on approach. About 20 minutes later he was purring and in my lap as sweet as could be. The shelter workers told me that wasn’t his real personality and history. I brought him and kept his shelter name...Krueger, after Freddy Krueger. LOL. He was the very best cat I’ve ever had. Others might have a different impression, but dang don’t come to my house and start fussing...you’ll upset Krueger. LOL.
We had a big (20 lb) blue Persian male who was very tolerant of dogs, as long as they didn’t bark at him. If a dog came up & barked, he’d leap on them and then chase them down the road a ways. His name was Sebastian, & a really sweet old kitty.
