I hear you.

But, Ebbets Field would not have survived too many more years. If O’Malley had his way, he would have built an Astrodome type stadium in downtown Brooklyn.

Its funny how in the 50s and 60s, we saw so many multi use stadiums built. But nowadays, the major trend has been to build old fashioned style ball parks.

The United States is the only country that knocks down old buildings to build new buildings that look like old buildings

But the Team(Dodgers) would have stayed in Brooklyn. So instead of retaining 1(or maybe 2) teams NYC LOST 2(Dodgers and the Giants followed the Dodgers West).
