Brett Favre's brother already made one built into the bow of a tanker ship which collects, separates the oil from the water, and puts the water back into the estuary cleaned of oil.

But the EPA will not allow it to be used in oil spills because it wasn't their doings, or public money spent. As a matter of fact the thing makes a profit by collecting the oil for refining.

probbly doesn’t kill enough stuff cleaning the water. put a wind turbine and a solar farm on there to chop and roast some birds and fedgov may let them use it.
