According to the article, the "married" ex-soldier has "become" a Senator pushing a gun control agenda.

His "stalker" (identified as such in the article) can't be a random act of violence or robbery gone wrong.

Nope, it's someone politically opposed to what he stands for (the gay, the gay military, the gay marriage, and/or the gun control).

Archie Comics is painting a picture (caricature) of their political opposition. Hmmm. That doesn't celebrate diversity of ideas.
