By Yuan Ren 01 Jul 2014 Ever heard of yellow fever? No, not the disease you can pick up when travelling to certain countries. I'm talking about when Caucasian men develop an acute sexual preference for East Asian women – even becoming a fetish, for some.
Naturally, there are dating websites aplenty dedicated to 'serving' those men who have yellow fever, where the average East Asian women is increasingly being perceived as a desirable partner.
In fact, the most recent figures from 2.4 million users of Facebook dating apps showed a clear skew in preference for women of East Asian descent by men of all racial groups, except, ironically, Asian men.
As a Chinese, single woman in the UK - where I have rarely come across racism – my East Asian friends and I have encountered a fair share of men with telltale signs of yellow fever. But it's subtle, and of course, few would admit to surfing online dating sites for Chinese women, yet when the only girls they date are Chinese, then the probabilities are in their favor.
Having said that, I'm surprised at what British men, both young and old, generally get away with when talking about East Asian women (Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.) as well as South East Asian women (Vietnam, Thailand etc.)

I travel a lot for work and there is a huge difference in women throughout the country. The women I’ve met in the NE tend to be very liberal and very into proving they are better then men.
Women in CA are pretty much the same.
Then, too, American women are surrounded by a constant media barrage of unrealistic expectations in life, and that would go a long way to foment unhappiness.
Oh, there are still those of us who fit that description. When a man compliments me I smile and thank him.

That was my brother-in-law. His ex-wife would criticize him in front of his family, take their son out to eat and leave him at home with no dinner, etc.

I see that, and I think Asian women are very feminine and pretty. Truth be told, I think the sexes in American have become so screwed up that I feel sorry for anyone in their 20s who is looking for a decent mate. So many of the women are loudmouthed man-haters who don't wear makeup and go around looking like slobs, and the males are gelded hipsters who put as much trouble into styling their hair as the women.
IMHO see half chinese ie Chloe Bennet & Kristin Kreuk.
Its simple. The constant friction gets tiresome.
Not to say US male-dom doesn't have its own flaws (and some getting worse), but it does explain why many guys seek companionship abroad.
Yep! I know of what ye speak! Give me a gal who can bait her own hook—and clean her catch (and not once say “Eeeeeeew!”.

My wife is Korean and I don’t see it as male dominated. She certainly is not a meek woman.
I think its because they accept that men and women are different. She’s not constantly trying to provide she’s a better man then I am.
I thought Kristin Kreuk was stunning on Smallville. I saw an episode of “Beauty and the Beast” a few days ago and thought she has lost a bit of her looks.
On Smallville, I thought Erica Durrance was prettier overall. Kristin was cuter in the face and had a slightly better derriere, but Erica had everything.
Although Sunny (an earlier pic) has no aversion to it.

It’s usually a preference for just Asian women in general, and only ones who have not been westernized. This way, men avoid feminism and other assorted BS.
LOL, no it is not true. I never dated Japanese, Chinese or Koreans. I have a Filipina. You can check out my profile page. Speaking in general, I would not say they are overly submissive. They have their opinions and will surely let you know what they think, but most are not into feminism, and family is most important to them.
