dangling them outside the log fume ride

Keep your arms and legs inside the ride at all times.

"Dangling", my fanny. This guy was either reaching deep down into the water or trying to reach out of the boat and touch the scenery.

"Keep your hands and feet inside the car at all times"

They have that sign for a reason...

So I just ran some numbers and a very ballpark figure would be 1.5 BILLION riders have successfully braved the Pirates of the Caribbean without cutting off the tips of their fingers, and this mook wasn't.

That's a special kind of stupid.

My brother lost his thumb, but doing something more noble, that is, handling cables as an electrician. Someone apparently dropped something, causing the cables to whip away, with his thumb at that moment handling them.

When I first saw him in person when I heard about the incident, I gave him the thumbs up.

I was just there a few weeks ago and coincidentally a British family was sitting behind me and the kid was doing this exact same thing throughout the entire ride even telling his dad to do it... wasn’t warned or corrected once by the “Adults”... I suppose those 2 steel guide rails under the water, and the weight of the boat pinching your kids fingers between the two isn’t something Britain’s concern themselves with apparently.

The victim lost the tip of his ring and little finger after apparently dangling them outside the log fume ride which inspired the Johnny Depp movies.

I weep for the state of written communication in this nation's press.

You could say he gave the Pirates the finger. Or two.

Keep hands in the boat at all times, dummy. Imagine what would have happened if he took flash pictures.
