Costco’s response to inquiries about the issue has been to assert that their motivation for pulling D’Souza’s book from their shelves was based on sales rather than politics:

I'd bet dollars to doughnut holes that the didn't pull Hillary's book, no matter how dismal the sales.

They haven’t pulled it as of yesterday. I went to buy a copy of America but it was not restocked (never saw it when it was supposedly in stock). Meanwhile, the pile of Hillary’s books were still displayed and not even marked down. I’m a long time member of Costco who has long noted their left leaning politics through their publications. Saw the same bias in Consumer Reports, Reader’s Digest, and some other publications which I cancelled, but have no choice here without canceling membership (which I did in AARP).
