Geez. No wonder hairy reid-iculous hates the Koch brothers. I do have to take exception with the republican claims. Maybe overall, but we all know penny pritzker is a boot lickin' obamanite. Seem to remember one of the waltons did some big donations to the dems as well. I'm sure somebody has a list to counter some of these claims. Hmmm. I wonder. Is patty hearst gettin' some of this money? Uh, I seem to remember that she is.

Of the 50 richest families, 28 are Republicans and only seven are Democrats
Only 7 are Democrats, but 15 are neither Democrat or Republican, apparently.

Being vastly wealthy - nice work if you can get it.

Of the 50 richest families, 28 are Republicans and only seven are Democrats. It just means there are more business- savvy, smart Republicans than there are Democrats.

A friend of mine from HS married Lucy Cargill. I’d say he made a wise choice. His brother was also CEO of Cadbury for years. Both from a small little HS in the mountains of central PA.

I had the displeasure of selling a property last year to the daughter of a billionaire (daddy is Alfred E. Mann). It was important for us to have the option to extend the 30 day escrow another 30 days if needed because we had to find a place to live.
Despite signing the contract (with our option to extend), she turned around and demanded we close in only 2 weeks, and threatened to sue us if we didn't. In the words of our very expensive attorney, "You definitely have a case, but in a pissing match what matters is who has the bigger bladder".
A huge and important factor for her was the fact that you could see the Hollywood sign from the bedroom patio. We visited the property this May when we were back in L.A., and the sign is no longer visible at the location due to a new highrise on Sunset Blvd. HAHAHAHA!!!

where’s bill gates? where’s warren buffett? where’s george soros?
seems that if you leave off the democrats, your list becomes republican heavy.

A lot of smiles in those photos. Who says money doesn’t buy happiness?
