On a more serious note..
That officer is lucky to be alive and uninjured.
A few months ago a cow attacked a rancher (in the dark), threw him airborn, and the rancher landed on his head and broke his neck. It was a serious injury like the one Christopher Reeves got. The only reason the rancher wasn’t further injured was because his cow dog got the attention of the cow, and kept her away from the rancher.
This cow was thought to be dead because the area had a serious forest fire just a year prior. Apparently, she managed to escape and got bred. She’d hidden her baby in the hay stack that the rancher was attending and fixing fence around...in the dark, yes. So, he never saw her coming to protect her baby.
A serious concussion messed up his head for a while, and intensive surgeries repaired the breaks. He’s lucky not only to be alive, but still walking. He has a lot of physical stuff to attend to, and deal with.
So ya, that officer was lucky that he wasn’t harmed any more than he was.
Still, the way the story is written is funny.
I’m sure the dispatcher was laughing like crazy as he/she put out the dispatch...typical humor.
Wow! That is quite a story. I am glad the rancher is doing so well.
And I am glad the policeman does not have worse injuries.
