What was Rahm doing this w/e?
Many - if not most - of these crimes will quietly be dropped from the list of active cases over the next few weeks, and - later this year - erased permanently from city records, and removed from Chicago crime statistics for the year.
That’s how they roll in Rahm-cago.
If shooting & killing one another is their way of celebrating the holiday, I'd say it was a grand celebration!

In a Democrat “Progressive” Paradise like Chicago, people don’t kill people: guns do. What I don’t understand is why Chicago doesn’t implement strict gun control to stop this madness. While they’re at it, they need to outlaw drugs too to put an end to the gang drug wars.

If you noticed the news reports earlier, the Department is trying to alter the definition of "weekend" again, cutting off the totals at 2359 hours Saturday and claiming that as a "weekend total" hoping that no one will remember Sunday numbers by the time next Saturday rolls around.The media isn't biting at that though, and has been reporting the usual numbers from Friday afternoon until Sunday evening. 60 is a lot, no matter how Rahm tries to spin it.

Liberals deliberately leave illegal guns in the hands of violent criminals, while plotting to seize them from non-violent, honest individuals.
The bad news: many dead, many more wounded who will require years if not decades of healthcare (i.e. - taxpayer subsidized medical care).
The good news: fewer democrat voters in Chicago.

If children flee this violence and get to Texas, will the Federal government step in with refugee camps and benefits of Texas citizenship?
Rahm needs to paraphrase ex-Mayor Marion Barry of Washington, DC: “If it wasn't for all the murders, Chicago would have a very low crime rate.”
