The same thing happens everyday in the ghettos across America. How can you know who fathered your child when you are stoned everyday? That is very likely the reason why so many Black babies are aborted.
In this case, they weren’t actually siblings but “milk-siblings”. As if breastfeeding a few times change the DNA.
I suspect in this case, someone wanted to push the woman’s children out of the line of inheritance and starts the rumor “they were breast fed, they are siblings, well, those kids are illegitimate and can’t inherit now, so more for the rest of us”.

Keep in mind that in many muslim countries, the inbreeding coefficient is >0.50 in many, many marriages because of repeated, interrelated, cousin-marriage. These people are brothers and sisters for all genetic purposes even though they don’t share the same parents. So, this isn’t really all that unusual.
