So you put a tray of 68° water and a tray of 35° water in the freezer at the same time. Both will start cooling. The 35° water only has to give up 3° to begin freezing. The 68° water has to loose 36° before it starts freezing.
Which one do you think will freeze first? The 35° water is not going to sit around and wait for the 68° water to 'catch up' (except maybe in the reality warp that is Searchlight...)

Well. I have to think about that, and it’s late (for me) and because I’ve already taxed my brain and body with shenanigans around here, I’m going to go out on a limn and say, the 35 degree water...
