The city of Berkeley will require medical marijuana dispensaries to give away two percent of the amount of cannabis they sell each year free to low-income patients. The City Council voted unanimously at Tuesdays meeting to amend the citys medical pot rules, which would also allow for a fourth dispensary in Berkeley.

I had the great opportunity to travel through nearby north Oakland a few weeks ago. First time in the East Bay in over 30 years.

Nothing. But that's essentially what they're clamoring for. When pot and prostitutes, and gambling are legal, we'll have even more wards of the state.

When pot and prostitutes, and gambling are legal, we'll have even more wards of the state. Prostitution has been legal in Nevada, and gambling in several states, for years, and there's no evidence of those things growing wards of the state.
