Dont fly any American flag if you live in an HOA community.”
We live in an HOA community. Everyone on our cul de sac flies American and Texas flags every day except for one family from Russia and one Asian family. Unfortunately they live on either side of me. They are also the only two families on our street who don’t have any decorations at Christmas time, although most of us have angels and manger scenes in our yard.
Our community is largely patriotic and religious and we make sure our HOA reflects this.

There were several stories about veterans flying the flag, not large ones, and the HOA told them to take them down. They considered the flag a banner and banners were not allowed. One vet was threatened with a fine or eviction. Happened in Texas.
