I completely disagree with the premise of this article. Marco Rubio HAD a bright future in the GOP, until he became Chuck Schumer's bitch and worked with the Senate Democrats and McCain, Graham et al. (unofficial Democrats)to push amnesty down the throats of the American people. Chuck Schumer knew what his doing when his conned Marco Rubio to work with Senate Democrats to pass amnesty. (Not that Rubio needed much arm twisting to go along.) In the process, he DESTROYED Rubio's future in the Republican Party. Marco Rubio was too stupid and naive to realize this was what Schumer's motive was.
Marco Rubio is COMPLETELY FOS if he thinks amnesty will help build up the United States' strength and help stabilize wages, secure the border, make America more competitive, etc. In reality, IT WILL DESTROY AMERICA by destroying this country's middle and working classes./rwa

The GOP is dead, deceased, not producing CO2, is at room temp.
And, if we’re lucky, all those “GOP” idiots currently serving in congress will soon follow.
Die, RINOs, die.
Die, die, die, die, suffer, die, suffer, die!!!!
We can then get onto developing a true conservative party willing to do war with liberals.

Rubio understands the need for structural changes in programs, which is quite different, and rather more important than, simply reducing spending. So government stealing the money of this and future generations is at best a secondary concern? Sounds "modern" all right - and I say the Hell with it.

Rubio needs to ba talking about getting government out of our lives, not about offering us cool new ways to tell us how to live our lives.
Rubio is RINO incarnate.

Marco Rubio is COMPLETELY FOS if he thinks amnesty will help build up the United States' strength and help stabilize wages, secure the border, make America more competitive, etc. The Gang of 8 bill is far more destructive than just amnesty. It triples legal immigration over the next decade to 33 million and doubles guest worker programs from 650,000 a year to 1.4 million. The bill floods the US labor market at a time when 21 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed.

You have it right.
Rubio has sold out believing that he can succeed by triangulating if he funds himself with Establishment Republican money. Hence his sell out on immigration to get fatcat amnesty donors on board. Triangulation is evident in every issue which you have cited. Regrettably, Rubio is not motivated by conservative principles but by ambition.

Rubio is more concerned that he has a place in and is like by the liberal Senate than he is with doing the right (conservative) thing... he has lost any influence with conservatives.

I don’t what these programs “reformed”. I want them pulled up by the roots. There is no reforming them.
