Official: Challenger Hellcat gets 707 hp

Dodge just announced that the 2015 Challenger SRT Hellcat will deliver 707 hp, in addition to 650 lb-ft of torque. Let us repeat. 707 horsepower. That's more than the last Corvette ZR1. More than the new Corvette Z06. Did we mention that's more than the frickin' Viper's V10?

Yeah, but it’s a Dodge.

Like a guy I knew back in the 70s, always traded up for the new Dodge muscle car every year - Super Bee sixpack on the 440, but he always had to get an automatic, cuz his wife couldn’t drive a stick. Talk about getting the bizness!
