Amy Adams has classeven if it means flying coach. The 39-year-old Oscar nominee gave up her first-class seat on a Friday flight for a U.S. serviceman.
Accounts of the seat swap were posted to Twitter by fellow passengers flying to Los Angeles from Detroit. When we were waiting to board, I saw her glance the soldiers way and then she said something to the person she was traveling with, said Jemele Hill, co-host of ESPNs Numbers Never Lie, who was also on the flight. Before we took off she had vacated her seat and the flight attendant brought the soldier to her seat.

I’m not a guy. Maybe that explains it. Her butt doesn’t do it for me. And the less of my money I pour into the Hollywood cesspool that is helping to destroy our culture the more I like it.
I don’t really know who she is and I don’t really care. I consider anyone from Hollyweird to be toxic
You’re right. It’s just prohibited for AF members. Ridiculous, but there ya go.
Amen!
Maybe because the USAF work with the airlines on a regular basis and many USA flagged carriers are considered a reserve fleet for emergencies or wartime?
It's not a sex thing. She's an upbeat, cheerful person on screen, and I think she's like that in real life.
Her movies don't seem to contribute to "the cesspool", but I go with DVD rentals at 2 for a buck just to starve the beast that much more.
I have never heard of this woman, but God bless her if this is what she did.
Yeah, Ooooo-kay. But you cared enough to post on this thread...
and that had nothing to do with her
Wellll, people were commenting on her butt. Maybe her scripts aren’t offensive, but if they’re produced by major studios they’re still part of the beast.
Some of her movies:
Trouble With The Curve (Clint Eastwood)
Leap Year
Julie & Julia (about Julia Child)
Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (Amelia Earhart)
Sunshine Cleaning
Enchanted
She was also Lois Lane in the last Superman movie. Coincidentally, one of her early roles was in the “Smallville” TV show in 2001.
Ha! Great point!
I'm starving the Entertainment Beast.
Interesting thought. I think it’s more likely an issue of “optics” - the mucky mucks thinking that people will assume the gummint is paying for first class. Really stupid, but that’s the mindset of a lot of these Pentagon types.
The only movie that I have heard of is the third one. I have just tuned out Hollywood over the last 15 years or so. Too much garbage.
Oh freaking hell yes. Come to daddy.
