I have 5 acres. Between illnesses I’ve been trying to save up enough for a building permit, but because of the rules in that township building a house requires a driveway that meets code, and both the driveway permit and the driveway construction are going to be expensive.
When I first bought my land, the only health problem I had was IBS, so I thought I could have everything built in 2-3 years. A month after closing, I collapsed from a kidney infection that went systemic, and couldn’t walk for a year and a half. Every time I started to get better and tried to get back on track with my building plans, something new went wrong. It put a damper on my house building schedule, that’s for sure.
Now I understand. Sorry for your troubles. Hope you get it all straightened out. Too bad your Dad does stuff like kill your strawberries.
