President Barack Obama says Republican obstructionism in Congress is keeping intact a system that is "rigged" against average people who are trying to do the right thing.
Obama is telling a crowd in Minneapolis that Republicans have blocked or voted down "every single serious idea" to help the middle class, including raising the minimum wage and extending unemployment benefits.
He says he's been taking steps on his own to help because he can't allow "indifference or greed" to threaten hard-working families.

Bring back the American jobs, Golden Child.
Destroy the US economy...
He is there whining that the republicans are calling him names. Call a waahhhhmbulance. Do you want some cheese with that whine?
FreepU BO, America destroying traitor!!
He spent his entire speech criticizing republicans. He pitched no economic priorities. This was all about bucking up the faithful to vote in November. Period.
This is not economics, what he is selling is welfare.
Every step Obama takes is a step Deeper into the Basement
Another photo-shopped halo for Obama.
Can we trust ANY of these rich Democrats to fix the problems of inequality in the United States? Sure, they will be happy to use that as an election ploy, but when it comes to actually changing anything - particularly the tax code - it is hard for me to believe that any of their suggestions would be all that helpful. These Democrats all get their funding from the billionaires in Silicon Valley, Wall Street, and Hollywood, and any tax code these people would be for would exempt that class from having to pay anything like what they really need to be paying in order for it to be fair to the middle and working classes. Meanwhile there would be more regulations, more taxes on the small business people, more health care ‘mandates,’ and most importantly, more arrogant bureaucrats like Lerner.
Pay Americans more to be under-or-unemployed.
Yeah, THAT’LL fix it. /S
