Conservative pundit Ann Coulter believes that the country’s growing interest in soccer – fueled by Team USA’s success in the 2014 World Cup - is a sure sign of America's ‘moral decay.’
Coulter’s reasons for hating soccer include that individual achievement is not a big factor, it isn’t rough enough, and the fact that ‘it's foreign.’
As a conservative she argued that liberals only love soccer - and the metric system - because they're both 'European.'

Soccer may be good or it may be bad, but it cannot be denied that liberals hate America and love soccer and are constantly ramming it down our throats for one reason and one reason alone: France and the rest of the world love soccer and we do not. I’m as conservative as you can get as is my husband, my father, my brother...many of my south-western Virginia farmer, gun loving neighbors. We all LOVE soccer and have for as long as I can remember. What’s liberal about that?

Not in my opinion. Ann’s comments make her look like a complete idiot. Not only that but what moron actually believes liking soccer is “only for liberal”, “haters of America”, or some “conspiracy”. That is so out there her comments sound like something that would come out of Obama or Pelosi’s mouth except over global warming or the likes.
