Both teams ran up and down the field kicking a round ball. They attempted to pass the ball to their own teammates, but often kicked it to the opposite team. Players bumped into one another and flopped on the ground feigning injury. Occasionally, one team neared the othet team's goal. The crowd yelled, but nothing happened. Final score = nil.
Tend to agree. I’ve never seen a sport like soccer where the goal (no pun intended) seems to be to deny satisfaction to the viewer. If the most interesting and exciting parts of the game are the situations where someone takes a shot on goal (a good shot on goal,) then why do the rules make it so hard for there to be more than a few legitimate shots on goal per game?
Another poster put it this funny way: “It isn’t a real sport when a player can bite another player and keep his teeth.”
I’d try and describe a baseball game to you, but I’d fall asleep trying to do so.
