Well, what is to be said?

How do you Mississippi Republicans feel knowing that the DEMOCRATS just chose your candidate? The senile Thad Cochran, who has spent us into oblivion, who is probably cheating on his bedridden wife with an intern, who does indecent things to animals. He, being puppeteered by the abominable fat slob lobbyist Haley Barbor, has stolen your election through fraud. That’s right. Contracting Democrats to vote in the Republican runoff is illegal. The law may be unenforceable, but it is still the law. So in order to stifle the will of the people, the primary voters, the GOP establishment has gone to Democrats to grant them victory.

Oh, I know Dave W is shrieking with glee just as he did when his favorite hack won in North Carolina. I’m sure him and his ilk are ecstatic that establishment prop James Lankford won in Oklahoma thanks to the other fraud Tom Coburn.

So what are you going to do? Well, let me tell you what I’m going to do. I’m going to strongly encourage McDaniel to run as a write in. And if he refuses, then I will work my ass off phone banking for Travis Childers. If Cochran wants to win with Democrats, then he won’t mind Republicans voting for Childers in November! I’m not a damn Republican, and they deserve to lose in November. That’s right, they want to run scumbags like McConnell and Cochran, GO AHEAD. You won’t get my vote nor my time or money.

It may be time for a third party. I have resisted it before, but this is getting to the diabolical stage with the cheating that has gone on here, with blacks being bussed around, pardons being given in exchange for celebrity endorsements.

Thad Cochran is a goon. The man has no honor, and even fewer brain cells. And we ALL know the fix is in. Cochran will retire, and Bryant will appoint Barbour in his place.

I recommend we start seriously talking about a third party now. This has gone FAR ENOUGH. I know the detractors will say the same thing “oh, but Viennacon, then the Democrats will win”. A lot of the time, they might, but what the hell do you call this now?! Democrats choose our candidates. Homosexual marriage is being forced upon the people. The debt spirals on. The IRS has destroyed all the evidence of their persecution. Republicans like to lose. They WANT to lose. We hand them a win in 2010, and they deliberately lose every battle following that.

In Britain, for UKIP to become the national force they have become, they had to challenge the fake conservative party. Who is to say we cannot do the same? The GOP has chosen to go the way of the Whigs. I just cannot help the feeling that it is time to abandon them.

For those on FR who have been pushing for a third party for the last 4 years, you have a convert in me.

I’ll vote for a third party strategically, and for no other reason.

Don't work and vote for the Democrat out of spite.

Just write in McDaniel, or stay home.

I've been done with the Republican Party for years. I don't support any of the GOP organizations and my vote only goes to individual conservative candidates.

What Cochran and the GOP did is unprecedented and has deepened the schism between the grassroots & the establishment.

Me too! Voting for the lesser of two evils, the thought of that makes my head want to explode. Its time for a new conservative party. To hell with the uniparty!
There’s no fixing the Republican Party. They hate conservatives.
If it takes years to get a foothold, so be it. Whether you vote Republican our Democrat, you’re voting for liberals. I’m done!

The answer is not a third party.

The answer is a passport and language skills. If you have kids, you need to get them out. America is gone. Has been for a generation.

I am a social and fiscal conservative, so there is no party that represents me.

The Miss. Republicans that did not bother to vote allowed that to happen.

Apparently they are OK with it.

Writing-in McDaniel makes more sense (to me) than attempting to start a 3rd party.

Vote out the RINOs!

After 30 years as a Republican I switched to Independent in 2007 shortly after hearing George Bush arrogantly say, "See you at the bill signing".

And I have never regretted it.

The only difference a Senate controlled by Republicans like this POS Cochran and one controlled by Democrats is which cronies get paid.

For years I’ve told people I’m a Republican “in name only” and when I eventually change my party affiliation that won’t even be the case.

I've not called myself a Republican since I left the party in disgust after the '96 fiasco. I'm currently registered as a Pubbie so I can vote in the Idaho primaries, but that doesn't mean I are one. I'm a conservative independent.

Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!

I quit the GOP last year. Stuff like this is why. The GOP can’t be saved. It can’t be reformed. It’ll always be a refuge for corporate whores and old men that’ll sell their souls for another term in office. There is zero real interest in small and limited government in the GOP.
