Best ESPN promo ever, IMO.
Sam’s Army in the house. All rise.
We played a good part of the first half on the counter attack. We had very clear chances to score in the first half but we got the last pass wrong or we tried to do things too hastily. In the second half, we were the team that had great possession but Belgium are a very dangerous team.
We tried to win the match and we were subjected to a counter, thats all. We tried to win it.
For South Korea, they have been punished for an awful first half. They improved in the second, but they couldn't really get much worse. Their progress beyong Group H now depends on them beating Belgium, but also on other results. Not mathematically eliminated, but it will take a minor miracle to qualify.
USA!
USA!
USA!
USA!

No mask
Go USA!!!
Too easy
We need better defense than that
Down one but looking good
What I fear is Portugal getting another one on a counter. The US can’t wait too long to get on the board.
Ah we’ll four points
Good night
I BELIEVE THAT WE CAN TIE!
Doesn’t have the same ring to it. Still, odds look good for advancing.
Ok, from Twitter, this one’s funny:
@FutbolsaCountry: #USA executed their gameplan perfectly. But nobody on the technical staff could have predicted that Ronaldo would pass to a teammate.
Uh, oh... I don’t think specific players are implicated, but the Ghana national team is in trouble for arranging to have matches fixed: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/world-cup/10918321/Football-match-fixing-deal-casts-cloud-over-World-Cup.html
That’s gonna be a distraction for the team...
LOL!
