The church I attend is Presbyterian USA but I never joined. I have been asked to join by the minister and elders. I stay because I like the minister, the music, and friendly congregation. I noticed he has never given a sermon on human sexuality, while the Presbyterian Church America teaches specifically against homosexuality. I get their email messages because they have a church within walking distance from home. Now, I don't think I'll ever join PCUSA.

Well, I'm about to capitulate and go back to the Catholic Church. Maybe God will give me guidance.

I have some issues about the church which are different from the ones cited in the article but matter to me. It makes me wonder why a whole lot of people a lot smarter than me don't seem to be bothered about any of it.

I can't advise you what to do. Pray about it. I can't fault you about the music. I love the liturgy and music in the Catholic church. And there are lots of nice people - in almost all churches.
