In "Man of Steel," the most recent Superman film, when Superman's parents send their son away from their dying planet to save his life, his mom worries he will not be accepted on Earth because he is an alien to the planet.
"He will be an outcast. They'll kill him," his mother says.
"How? He'll be a god to them," says his father, Jor-El, who believes Superman will be an ideal Earth's inhabitants will strive to reach.

Indeed!
that makes it a lot more difficult! LOL!
Babylon 5 struck me as very fair towards religion considering JMS is said to be an athiest.
Yes. he did.
His Martial Arts prowess was supernatural, also.
I think the Global Warming crowd suffers from a severe case of Jor-El Syndrome.
Oh, if ONLY they had listened to ME! I am after all the most BRILLIANT SCIENTIST who ever lived!
“Actually, since Satan is here, dont know of any intelligent alien who would want to be here.”
Precisely!
We don’t know if there are other races out there or not; the Bible does not say. God created mankind and He can create whomever or whatever He wants. If there are “aliens” out there, He created them for some reason.
The point is that this planet is a war zone right now. If the Lord created any other intelligent race other than us, and if that species is capable of star travel, there is going to be a massive huge “No Trespassing” sign floating outside of our solar system. Planet Earth is a No Fly Zone.
That being said, I imagine there is unintelligent life all across the universe. Algae, plants, even trees. God creates life and beauty, and I doubt He made all those estimated planets out there with zero life-forms. Once we have spacecraft that can reach out there, I won’t be the bit surprised when they bring back a leaf.
I saw the Book of Eli a bit differently. It was the clearest representation of faith shown in a modern setting I have ever seen. Eli depended on God for everything, his food, water, self-defense, guidance, and health. When you consider the actual state of Eli’s eyes, his tremendous faith becomes abundantly clear.
I understand that others might have a completely different view of the subject as I saw that one person even watched the movie and thought Eli was a muslim — a “muslim” who just happens to love memorizing the entire Bible.
Needless to say, the Book of Eli is one of my all time favorite movies.
Yup and the reason we are so special is that we are created in His image. Targets of jealousy. Not even the angels have that on their resume. :)
