Sandler is still funny and I loved both "Grown Ups" movies. Crude, but very funny. Vaughan was very funny in "Delivery Man" although "The Internship" sucked. He's on the bubble.
Where is Leonardo DiCaprio on this list? "The Wolf of Wall Street" did OK, but "The Great Gatsby" was one of the biggest flops in recent memory. How about celluloid eye acid like "Django Unchained" and "Shutter Island"? Real stinkers.
Where is Brad Pitt? He's so busy caring for his insane wife's multiple kids that he's essentially out of the business. However, anything he's done within memory has sucked ("World War Z", "The Counselor").
And where is Jim Carrey? America has clearly said, "Get this washed-up psycho away from me!" Remember "Mr. Popper's Penguins" and "Kick-Ass 2"? Neither does anyone else. He's done.
I would definitely agree with you on everything except "Shutter Island". The ending on that threw me and my wife so badly that we had to watch it a second time just to make sure that we understood what was going on. That is the ONLY movie with DiCaprio in it that I can tolerate ... and I still think it's one of the best horror thrillers around that nobody has really heard of.
