So how did the overheating thing go?

Not good, looking like a radiator for sure. Had leak by drain plug that was torn up. Put new drain plug in and it now leaking at core/tank, inside is corroded BAD because they just put H2O in it. Temp gauge was pegged so got a new sender for that.

Waiting on kids to decide on parts purchase; local/.net.

Local more and in stock/.net 1/2 the cost but Thurs/Fri for delivery.

Only vehicle for them, 3 jobs daily so right now We get to play Taxi Service with Mama’s Truck. (and get Her to work)

I bought a rad for a Jeep one time from Rockauto, great price but it was damaged in shipping, so I had the original shipping time, the shipping back for credit wait time, and the 2nd shipping time.

Some stuff like that it’s perhaps better to pay more locally unless it’s a resto job or something without daily need.

Bummer, I’ve had good luck w/Rock until the TB on Mama’s truck.

The Kids could save about $70.00 doing Rock but I’m glad they chose local cuz that means less Taxi Service for Us.

It was plastic side tanks and the neck where the cap screws on was buggered up from bouncing in the carton.

The Dogs would be a better choice. He tried to remove the back of the clothes dryer 2 years ago and 1 corner screw was missing, when I got called in I found the top left corner of the steel back folded down to the bottom right!

The boy can cook but don’t let him near ANYTHING but kitchen tools...
