Was going to mention the Q&R message as well! It won’t be long!!!!
The only local station with movement is WJAS. And Iorio has mentioned talk. Dropping nostlgia music will destroy that station’s core audience. Hope the talk listeners make up for that.
If WJAS becomes a talk station, and Q&R get back on the air, is there a possibility that their affiliates will pick them up, or will it stay mainly local?
It would probably be mostly local to start. Some of the old affiliates may be able to pick them up but CC may nix that if the affiliates are CC stations.
BTW on a net show,I watch...DIY Trying on Revision3.com the hosts made their own bacon. Looked really easy and yummy! Pork belly, pink salt. Wait a week then smoke it. Just might try that.
How do you smoke bacon in a apartment?? Oh - you go to your son’s house? Let us know how it turns out. Maybe I’ll get some pork belly at our local butchers and give it a try. Mr S would be in “hot heaven”! (snort!!!)
We take our bacon seriously around here. Last three trips to Sam’s Club, we bought three-lb boxes of bacon. Got about 8 lbs in the freezer. We don’t go through a pound very fast, so we’re good for quite awhile!
I’ve been thinking of making strawberry-rhubarb jam to start off my canning/freezing season. Got to keep the pantry and freezer stocked. It has helped keep us going as we’re trying to help son and his wife, and deal with this ‘booming economy’/sarc.

We haven’t snuck any in the house in awhile (boys and I—PaDad will have a conniption! I have to HIDE actual butter). But making your own and smoking it (and then slicing really thick!!!6 heavenly!!!
Good news about Q&R close to coming back:) and (just like he has w/Greg) Q tweeted back at me (about WV and coal miners NOT voting Dem).
Just saw a headline on Drudge I MUST read...it questions WHY Cantor/Ryan et al WANT immigration reform. And I have to ask WHY myself! I’m not an R I want to be (like Sean Hannity) a registered Conservative.

I, too, have wished that Pennsylvania has a “Conservative Party”. The Republican Party has been such a huge disappointment. What a bunch of jellyfish!
